The Laconia Public Library, which opened its doors in 1903, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A major addition and renovation project was completed in 2005. The Laconia Public Library is the largest library in the Lakes Region, offering the community resources, programs, and activities for all ages. Once again, we are thrilled to have the opportunity to participate in the statewide Big Read NH project.
